Will fashion ever be sustainable? Likely not. By nature, fashion, consumption and sustainability will always be somewhat contradictory. But we can change the way we produce and consume fashion.
We owe it to ourselves. To you. To the planet.
Responsibly Crafted is a brand philosophy. Shaping our entire business in a constant effort to make fashion more sustainable. From the way we design and manufacture our clothes to how we work with suppliers. Sustainability is a part of our DNA.
We know that the road is long and challenging. There are no shortcuts. No quick fixes. Big ambitions require big efforts. And we cannot do it alone.
Your choices matter. It is our responsibility to help you make those choices. To make sure that you never feel guilty for caring about fashion. To prove that fashionable clothes can also be crafted responsibly. To keep learning, trying, changing, improving.
Every day, we try to do better.

A key focus on our sustainable journey is our transition to using more sustainable fibres. Fibres that contribute to waste reduction, water conservation and lower emissions.
Our fibre selection consists of high quality responsibly sourced fibres, as well as a growing roster of innovative fibres from verified third party standards. These are all highlighted on product tags to make it easier for you to make considered choices when shopping.
HERE’S SOME OF
WHAT WE’VE
LAUNCHED SO FAR
At SELECTED, we respect human rights. This applies to all parts of our value chain; from how we act as an employer to how we work with our suppliers. And we expect the same from our suppliers. Together with relevant stakeholders, we are working to create more healthy and safe work environments, increase transparency in our supply chain, establish systems to ensure fair wages across the industry and much more. Learn more about our human rights efforts here.
RESPONSIBLY
PACKAGED
Our journey towards more sustainable retail packaging has begun. While currently mapping our plastic and packaging footprint, we are already taking quick action to reduce the use of plastic in our retail packaging. As an example, all in-store disposable paper bags have been replaced by new, durable bags made from recycled plastic bottles. Soon, all our polybags will also be made of 100% recycled PE plastic and all our paper-based packaging will be 100% FSC certified.
